Please note the museum will be closed to the public September 30th – October 2nd for a private event.
Wings Over the Rockies is closed on the following holidays: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The Museum may also close for private events. Explore Wings Over the Rockies
With over fifty iconic aircraft and the most realistic flight simulators in Colorado, Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum has something for everyone. Not only can you walk alongside majestic former warbirds, a ¾ scale X-Wing Starfighter and a homemade helicopter but you can bring out your inner pilot with unforgettable Simulator Experiences and immerse yourself in aviation history with the museum’s permanent exhibitions. Wings Over the Rockies is proud to be Colorado’s Official Air & Space Museum.
Be sure to stop by the Harrison Ford Welcome Theater during your visit to watch a short film starring Hollywood icon, Harrison Ford. You can also check out Behind the Wings, a mini-series that goes behind-the-scenes with Wings Over the Rockies aircraft, volunteers and more.

The Boeing Blue Sky Aviation Gallery at Exploration of Flight is now open Friday – Sunday at Centennial Airport.
